A Bedda Matri is a device that produces metal drops, melting and depositing unique, irregular elements. Built from wood, plaster and leather, the machine holds automation and hand work together.
The mother machine that generates the drops stands as an ironic counterpart to the mechanisation of labour and reproduction: closer to a womb than to an alienating apparatus.
