Amuri

The solitudes of the ego

Crafted from black-patinated steel, Amuri is a bench conceived for a dance performance where the central theme was the relationship between two lovers. Its surface, flat and expansive, becomes a stage itself, inviting bodies to move, rest, or intertwine. As the bench shifts, it resonates with sound, adding a subtle layer of rhythm to the choreography. Both seat and instrument, it offers the possibility of solitary pause or shared encounter, embodying the tension between intimacy and distance.
